Welcome to a new improved website. Here you will find some information about my own private vila, Villa Pilar, as long as pictures, booking information, Calan Porter Resort information, Menorca information, latest news as in last minute deals, latest news of the Resort or things that are happening in the island, as well as links to external pages with more information about Calan Porter, Menorca, and also links to official pages for Hotels and Villa bookings in Menorca. The links for my villa and my friend villas photo galleries are on the top of this page.
This site also features some of my friends private villas that are also for rent in the beautiful resort of Calan Porter, through this site, you can also ask about villas info, availability, prices, and any other things you would like to know.
Remember that we are not at all a company or anything like that, just private owners with villas for rent, and at the same time would like to promote a little bit our fantastic resort, Calan Porter, and the beautiful island of Menorca.
Villa pilar info:
One of two identical pretty villas enclosed in a 500 square metre private plot. One of the villas is occupied by Jose and Vicki, the owners. We also run a large bar called Flava´Bar, in the main road of the Resort, that is open till late and serves food, so most of the time we are away from home, so guests can enjoy their privacy.
Villa has been recently completely refurbished and equipped and now has a modern stylish feel, it is situated on a very quiet urban street, yet within 5 minutes walk to resort centre and access down to the beach.
There is Air Con, Safe, Smoke Alarm, Fire Extinguisher, Sky tv, Dvd, films, Stereo, WIFI, etc......No smoking inside the villa, but you can smoke outside or around the pool and garden.
In order to keep the prices low, we have fitted the air con unit with a timer, which means that air con operates with 1 euro coin, which will give you 2 hours of air conditioned. This way, we dont have to put extra money on the rent to cover for air conditioned, you can use it at your own discretion. The timer can be paused at any time so if you´ve just put a coin in and you want to leave, you can just pause the timer and re use the rest of your credit when you get back, so you dont loose any money.

The villa comprises of one double room with plenty of wardrobe space, and one twin room with fitted wardrobe.
The bathroom consists of a full lengh bath with shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The kitchen is equipped with brand new fridge freezer, new microwave, oven and gas hobs.
The lounge has two new sofas, dining table and chairs, Tv with Sky tv, Dvd with latest films, including children´s fims, and full stereo system with a 3 cd changer, also wifi is now available.
It is not permitted to smoke inside the villa, but its ok to smoke outside.

The lounge doors open up onto the covered terrace area, with large patio table and six chairs.
There is a swing bench under an olive tree, which overlooks the large private pool, (9,4 m. by 4 m. ), with pool lighting and poolside shower, with plenty of sunbathing space surrounding the pool.
Sunloungers are available for use. There is a stone barbecue and plenty of outdoor lights for those wishing to dine al fresco.
At the back of the house there is a "caseta" containing washing machine and tumble dryer.
